After 3 weeks of recuperating from WL Surgery in Stockton, CA I'm finally home.

I will jump on the animation stuff with PDAF and Leafworthy. However...

Hello to anyone who cares. I sucessfully got my surgery on Monday June 29th 2009. I was in the hospital for 2 days. I have already lost 22 lbs as of Sunday July 5th. However, I'm still in the really gnarly, nasty ass liquid phase...(I have to consume 80 grams of protein daily...And I'll tell you what, protein shakes are really nasty). My stomach went thru a standard VSG *(Look it up). The average stomach size is 60 ounces. So my 60 ounce stomach was reduced to 3-4 ounces. Of which will progressively stretch to no more than 10 ounces...ever.

So that is the update. I dont really have access to a computer so I havent had a chance to review some music that has been sent to me. I promise though, I will get to all the music promptly after returning home in 2 weeks.

I'm still on Lortab (Vicodin) and Tramadol (Ultram) so I'm still a bit fuzzy as to what is going on around me. I hate Vicodin and whilst people say I'm stupid and that Vicodin is the "Shiznit"...Try taking it for more than 2 weeks, not because you want to, but because you have to. I have to take it because, due to the nature of the surgery...My stomach is a bit pissed off right now. I have spasms in my stomach leading to my esophogus, causing a pain that I cannot explain, but up there with a calf cramp *(Charlie Horse). It is the kind of pain that makes you want to punch someone. And the medicine only does so much. It doesnt stop it, more or less, lessens it.

Not just that...I also have to give myself Heparin Injections 3 times a day. Heparin leaves behind lovely bruises...(makes sense...it is an Anticoagulent). I have to use the Heparin to prevent DVT's and Pulmonary Emboli's. In addition to the injections. I have to walk about a half a mile a day leading and progressing up to 3 miles each day within 4 months.

I'm on chewable vitamins, and 1500grams of Calcium each day. I have 5 incisions each being about 1 inch in width (Smaller incisions does not equal less pain!).

Being I have a very small tummy now, taking my everday medicine has become a relative chore. i can drink no more than 2 tablespoons in one sip and no more than that of 4 ounces over a 15 minute time period.

Yes, I had this surgery to lose weight. I wrote all this to clarify, Its not the easy solution. If anything, its the life altering hard solution. I can no longer drink beer or soda, or anything carbonated. For years I'll be consuming 800 to 1000 calories per day (thats about 75 percent less than the average american). Yes, I'll lose weight faster than most people. But at what cost...$17,000. Luckily, my insurance covered most of it.

However, that isnt the point. The point is now my chances of a heart attack have been decreased by about 60 percent, High blood pressure and High Cholesterol reduced by about 70 percent, Diabetes reduced by almost 90 percent. I know I have made the right choice. I will no longer be laughed at due to my weight, I'll no longer be a high risk person for many common obesity related conditions.

I will live longer, and be healthier.

Hey everyone!

I'm not here right now, nor will I be making any music, art, or flashes for 3-4 weeks.

I'm getting abdominal surgery on Monday June 29th 2009.

I'll also be recovering in Donner Lake, CA. With almost no access to a computer.

I'll pop in from time to time, just to say Hi, and check on progress of a flash collab.

Any computer access I will have, that computer wont have my programs, so it would be useless for me to attempt any music, or flash productions.

The song "The Lost Caves" is actually part of a flash I'm working on, while it will be quite a while before its released, I have high hopes of its success. The flash will take place in a cave (duh). Revolving around the idea of the unknown. You never quite know what to find in a cave. As the song goes, you can hear from it, that there is an aspect of wonder, and this is how the story will go.

Now, I'm looking to collaborate on this. So if any Flash Artists out there know what they're doing, and would like to be part of this, please help!!

I'm relatively new to flash. My first animation was Madly Maxus. A 3D animation about a very short fused dude named Madly Maxus (MadMax for short). The animation was a very big success, and somewhere amongst the plethora of discs I have, Madly Maxus is there. Once found (if I ever find the time) it will be converted to SWF and uploaded here.

Now, I'm more musician than animator. But I have models of what the vast cave system should look like. I have some ideas for the characters, including the main character and the antagonist. I plan on this being somewhere between 2-5 minutes long and somewhat 3D.

So if anyone knows what the hell they're doing, and would like to help...Hit me up!!

I drew the images that I do have, and used an OCR program to put it to stage. I dont have a tablet so, mouse drawing is the only thing I have currently. I can do coloration and fill-ins. Other than that, I'm just the creator of the animation. Anyone who helps on this endeavor will receive full credits and a Free copy of my latest album.
